This shows the setup for machining the knuckle holes and the outside surfaces true to the crankpin hole. The expanding mandel is locked in the collet and the oppisite end is held in the vise. The center of the crankpin hole was found, and the knuckle hole is referanced from that.

The first drilled hole is the tap drill for the 1/4-28 knuckle pin, drilled alt the way through. This is the knuckle pin shoulder hole, drill about half of the way through (all we have to do is drill / ream into the slot to be machined later).
