Valve Crosshead machining
I decided to modify the design of the valve crosshead. I started by making the major portion of the crosshead out of steel and making an SAE 660 bronze insert. When the guide slot wears, I can replace it with a new instert. I had finished the guides before I made the decision to modify the crossheads, so when the guides wear, I'll replace them with hardened steel bars. See here for more details.
