In these pictures I'm boring the axel and bearing
holes in the driving boxes. Note the protective copper strips taped to
the chuck jaws. An old parellel is used as a stop in the back of the
chuck. Each part is put in the chuck in the same orientation and
centered between the sides, and then offset by 0.090 top to bottom (to
center the bore between the bottom and the to-be-machined 0.090 slot on
top.
